V.L.U. Art School
I realized even with having some feature film
scripts being pitched around, I knew I had to keep on writing. But this
year I decided to dive into the world of comics and graphic novels. It
was a great way to get my writing produced into something tangible. Not
that producing a comic book or graphic novel is easy. It's really not.
But it's a lot easier then getting a script made into a movie. That's a
huge titanic endeavor.
So I started learning the format and style of comic book writing by reading comics. A shit load.
I also wanted to learn to draw (illustrate). There is a lot of comic book artists that write and illustrate their own work.
So I enrolled at V.L.U. (Villainous Lair University). It's my fun art school I created taught by my coworkers at a comic shop I work at part-time. More on that soon.
Below is a link to my Pinterest page, to see my progress as an illustrator. From day one to...always. You're always honing your craft. In writing, drawing, and in everything. Enjoy!
